Conditional call forwarding is free under the Sprint Phone Connect Plan, and can be activated on most Sprint phones. To set up call forwarding on your Sprint device, just use the following guide.
Sprint customers have the choice of four call forwarding activation options:
1) No answer call forwarding: No answer call forwarding automatically forwards calls that are not answered to a pre-programmed number. To activate no answer call forwarding, dial *73 and then the number that you want your calls forwarded to. To deactivate, dial *730.
2) Busy call forwarding: Busy call forwarding forwards calls made to your Sprint device to an alternative number in the event that your line is busy. To activate busy call forwarding, dial *74 and then the number that you want your calls forwarded to. To deactivate, dial *740.
3) Busy or no answer call forwarding: Busy or no answer call forwarding activates the two above-listed call forwarding methods in combination. If you are unable to answer the phone, or if your line is busy, your calls will be forwarded to the number of your choice. To activate, dial *28 and then the number that you want your calls forwarded to. To deactivate, dial *38.
4) Immediate call forwarding: Immediate call forwarding redirects all calls made to your Sprint device to an alternate line. Immediate call forwarding is not covered under the Sprint Phone Connect Plan, and calls connected using this option are subject to a $0.20/minute charge. To activate, dial *72 and then your forwarding number. To deactivate, dial *720.

Using Call Forwarding to Maximize Business Productivity
Call forwarding is not just a personal tool, it can also be used by businesses to increase customer satisfaction and implement global expansion. Try using call forwarding in combination with the following two telephony marketing techniques:
Virtual Numbers: Virtual phone numbers are customizable numbers that can be routed through any existing line or device. Virtual phone numbers make recruiting national and global customers easy, as they enable small businesses to activate toll free contact numbers that are local to any location. For example, a business seeking to market products to customers in Singapore can set up a number with a Singapore area code. When customers call this number, their calls are automatically forwarded to a pre-programmed US phone line.
Vanity 800 Numbers: Vanity 800 numbers are phone numbers that are customized in order to market a specific brand, company or product. Vanity phone numbers can be either numeric or narrative, and can work to great effect by creating an association between phone number and product. Vanity 800 numbers work in combination with call forwarding by providing one free international number that customers everywhere can call. Calls made to vanity numbers are generally forwarded through traditional business or cell phone lines.
